The site’s calculation checks include compounding, pension income start ages, withdrawals, transfers and conservation of money between buckets. These checks can catch implementation errors; they do not validate future investment returns. Tax tools identify their tax-year assumptions and link to official guidance. Check the exclusions beside each tool, especially when your circumstances involve several income sources or unusual tax treatment.
Updates and corrections
Calculator rules and supporting guides are updated together when their assumptions change. Financial rules and provider terms can change independently, so official sources and your own statements take precedence over an illustration. If a figure looks wrong, tell us the page, the inputs you used, the result and what you expected. Do not send account numbers, National Insurance numbers or private financial documents.
